Recently, Icon Star Allu Arjun visited Nandyal to extend his sincere support to YSRCP MLA candidate Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy, who happens to be a close friend of the actor. The following day, the YSRCP released posters claiming that Bunny had endorsed their party. Promptly, the supporters of Jana Sena Party heavily trolled the ‘Pushpa’ actor on social media for obvious reasons.
The fallout of his Nandyal visit has reached Bunny. After casting his vote today (May 13th), he was quick to clarify that he holds no political affiliation. Here is what the ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ actor told the media in unambiguous terms:
“I remain politically neutral, aligning myself solely with candidates who have personal connections with me. I have lent support to Pawan Kalyan garu, as well as my father-in-law (in Telangana, in the past). As for Ravi Chandra, I pledged my support to him long ago and honored that commitment by standing by his side as a gesture of goodwill.”
