Panna Royal, renowned for delivering thrills through horror movies like “Calling Bell” and “Monster,” has ventured into production with the Universal Studios banner, offering audiences a unique cinematic experience titled ‘Plant Man.’ The recently unveiled First Look and Lyrical Song garnered a highly positive response, building anticipation for the full-length comedy entertainer scheduled for a December release. The newly released trailer provides insights into the film’s intent—to induce laughter through witty dialogues and humorous situations. Notably, the comedy genre has seen a recent downturn, and the makers are optimistic that ‘Plant Man’ will successfully address this gap.
Director Panna Royal, under the Universal Studios banner, has taken the initiative to establish a production company aimed at promoting newcomers and providing fresh opportunities. In line with this vision, the film ‘Plant Man’ introduces K. Santosh Babu as the director. The movie is helmed by Panna Royal himself.
Speaking about ‘Plant Man,’ producer Panna Royal expressed, “Having previously focused on horror-based films in my directorial ventures, I desired to delve into the comedy genre with this project. It’s a film that caters to a universal audience, offering laughter from start to finish. The movie incorporates a novel element, which is the reason behind its title, ‘Plant Man.’ This unique aspect promises to captivate the audience. We have scheduled the film’s release for December, and moving forward, we plan to continue introducing fresh talents under our banner.”
The cast of ‘Plant Man’ includes Chandrashekhar, Sonali Panigrahi, Ashok Vardhan, Yadam Raju, Apparao, Baby Cupid, Akkam Balaraju, Chalapathirao, Tadwelu, Balaraj, Lakshmikiran, Shekhar, Srikumari, Muralikrishna, Manikarnan. The film features background music by Vinod Ownership, music composed by Ananda Balaji, editing by SK Chalam, lyrics by Saikrishna Velishetti and Pannarayal, and songs penned by Ishwar Hemakant. The director of the film is K. Santoshbabu.
