“Thikamakathanda” is set to hit theaters worldwide on December 15, introducing a unique concept centered around collective forgetfulness. The storyline revolves around an Ammavaru (divine mother) idol that mysteriously disappears from a village, leaving the community in suspense about its whereabouts. The initial teaser trailer for the film has garnered positive responses.
Producer Tirupathi Srinivas shared insights into the movie, stating, “Twins Ram Hari, cast as the heroes, were chosen as part of a novel experiment. Our decision to produce this film stemmed from our children’s enthusiasm for Venkat’s engaging storyline, which introduces a fresh concept called ‘Matimarupu’ to the audience. The film delves into the humorous aspects of a village grappling with collective forgetfulness, highlighting both the troubles and emotional content. Yani and Rekha Nirosha, renowned for their roles as child artists in the movie ‘Rajanna,’ have been cast as the heroines. The teaser and trailer have received acclaim for DOP Harikrishnans excellent cinematography. We presented the film to distributors, who showed great appreciation for its content. ‘Thikamaka Thanda,’ produced by TSR Movie Makers, is scheduled for a global release on December 15.”
