Tollywood is currently enjoying global acclaim, with Hollywood filmmakers acknowledging the prowess of Telugu cinema. The remarkable work of Telugu heroes and directors has garnered widespread attention. In a surprising turn of events, Telugu actor Vishwa Karthikeya is set to headline an Indonesian project. Vishwa Karthikeya, who commenced his career as a child artist in Tollywood and made his debut as a lead actor in the intense emotional action drama “Kaliyuga Pattanamlo,” has been offered a prominent role in an Indonesian film. Ayushi Patel, the leading lady from “Kaliyuga Pattanamlo,” is confirmed to play the female lead in this Indonesian venture.
Having acted as a child artist in over 50 Tollywood films, Vishwa Karthikeya gained recognition for his performances in movies featuring Balakrishna, Rajasekhar, Bapu, and Rajendra Prasad. Notable films in his repertoire include Raja Sekhar’s “Gorintaku,” Rohith’s “Janaki Weds Sriram,” Vishnu, Srikanth’s “Letha Manasulu,” Mohan Babu’s “Siva Shankar,” and Balayya Babu’s “Adhinayakudu.” Vishwa Karthikeya has left a lasting impression with his roles in films such as “Jai Sena,” “Kalaposhakulu,” and “Allantha Doorana.”
Currently, the post-production activities for “Kaliyuga Pattanamlo” are progressing swiftly. Simultaneously, both the lead actor and actress have received an offer for the Indonesian project.
The upcoming movie, titled ‘Shoonyam Chapter 1,’ features significant roles played by actors from Hindi and Indonesian cinema. The film revolves around the concept of supernatural powers. Produced and directed by CK Ghouse Modhin under the banner of Silver Blinds (Indonesia), Unni Rao (USA) will serve as the cinematographer. The movie is set to release in Telugu, Hindi, and Bahasa (Indonesian language). The Indonesian project is scheduled to commence filming in March next year.
