Tamil Actor Vishal Open Letter To The People Of Tamil Nadu About  “Makkal Nala Iyakkam”.

Dear Everyone,

Warm greetings to you all.

I am deeply grateful to the people of Tamil Nadu who have bestowed upon me the status, recognition, and affection as an actor, a social worker, and most importantly, as a fellow member of our society for numerous years.

Expressing my commitment to contribute within my means, I have always considered my fans association not merely as a conventional fan club but as a platform to contribute positively to society. We have shaped it into a charitable welfare movement with the fundamental goal of “Doing our best for those who don’t have.”

As a subsequent initiative, we established “Makkal Nala Iyakkam” to promote the well-being of the people and operate at the district, zone, and branch levels for their welfare. Additionally, through the ‘Devi Foundation,’ named after my mother, we provide assistance to deserving students every year in memory of our late former president, Sir A.P.J Abdul Kalam, to support their educational pursuits. Furthermore, we extend our support to farmers across all districts in Tamil Nadu.

Beyond these endeavors, during my movie shoots in various villages, towns, or cities, I consistently engage with the local residents, understanding their issues and concerns. Subsequently, I endeavor to address their fundamental needs through the collective efforts of my associates in “Makkal Nala Iyakkam.”

Throughout these years, my philanthropic efforts have never been driven by any political motives, and I will continue to earnestly serve the needs of the people, guided by the words of the venerable Valluvar, “It’s never good to let the thought of good things done thee pass away.” Mentally, I view this as my duty.

I am steadfast in my commitment to carry on with my social work for the people of my state through “Makkal Nala Iyakkam.” Should the future unfold new opportunities for me to extend my assistance and work for the welfare of the needy, I will not hesitate to vocally express or actively engage in initiatives for the benefit of the people.
