Srikanth Iyengar is a well-known character artist and comedian in Telugu cinema. Veerapan, Dear Comrade, Mehabooba, Coronavirus, Disha Encounter, Murder and recent films like Bhale Unnade are among his appearances.
In this week’s release Pottel, Srikanth has played the role of a calculated school teacher who trades his teaching services with gifts from the male lead. Pottel has received mixed reviews from the critics community.
Speaking today at Pottel’s event, Srikanth abused the reviewers, saying that they are good for nothing. “These bloody parasites don’t know how to make a short film. And they have the gall to criticize movies to make which we stake our lives,” Srikanth said.
Srikanth showered expletives on the critics community, saying that they are born of the excreta of ‘daridram’. “They lick the excreta of germs. They don’t have even a rough idea of what it takes to make a film. It is up to the audience to embrace movies like Pottel. We will continue to make movies,” he added.
