Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday lauded Prabahs, Krishnam Raju and Ram Gopal Varma at a summit hosted by a caste organization named the Kshatriya Seva Samithi. The three film personalities belong to the same social grouping.
At the event, the Congress leader said that ‘Baahubali’ wouldn’t have happened but for Prabhas. The CM added that ‘Baahubali’ could compete with even Hollywood movies.
In his speech, Revanth also said that the history of Telugu cinema can’t be talked about without referencing the late Krishnam Raju. He then added that RGV, whom he described as a close friend, migrated from Telugu cinema to Hindi cinema, where he made a distinct mark for himself with his movies.
Prabhas will start shooting for Hanu Raghavapudi’s movie later this year.
