‘Razakar’: A Cinematic Tribute to Ancestors Unveiled at Song Launch Event

Director Yata Satyanarayana, at the song launch event of ‘Pothugadda Maa..’ from the movie ‘Razakar,’ expressed that the film is a heartfelt tribute to ancestors, a nod to their sacrifices and struggles. Produced by Guduru Narayana Reddy under Summer Veer Creations, the film features Bobby Simha, Vedika, Anushya Tripathi, Prema, Indraja, and Makarand Desh Pandey in pivotal roles.

The song launch event, attended by Executive Producer Pothireddy Anjireddy, Director Yata Satyanarayana, Anushya Tripathi, Production Designer Tirumala Tirupati, Music Director Bhims Cicerolio, Choreographer Swarna, Lyric Writer Suddhala Ashok Teja, Bobby Simha, and others, was held in Hyderabad.

Anushya Tripathi praised the song ‘Pothugadda Maa…’ for its beauty and credited Music Director Bhims for giving it a wonderful tune. She acknowledged Bobby Simha’s dynamic performance and expressed gratitude to Director Yata Satyanarayanagari and the entire team.

Suddhala Ashok Teja shared his emotional journey in creating the song, highlighting Director Yata Satyanarayana’s narration that stirred deep emotions. He revealed the personal connection to the Razakar movement, as his parents actively participated in the fight against the Nizam for freedom. His profound lyrics were a tribute to his roots and the sacrifices made during that period.

Bheems, emotionally connected to the film, described ‘Razakar’ as a project close to his heart. He shared that singing and composing for the movie was a tribute to immortal heroes and a representation of the hardships and tears faced by the Telangana community. Bheems expressed pride in working on the film and thanked the cast and crew for their contributions.

Bobby Simha appreciated the unknown emotion conveyed through Bhims’ music and Suddala Ashok Teja’s lyrics. He shared the emotional experience during the film’s shooting, where he learned about the history of the Razakar movement. Simha praised Director Yata Satyanarayanagari and Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy for their courage in undertaking such a significant project.

Director Yata Satyanarayana conveyed the film’s inspiration drawn from the songs of fighters like Suddala Hanuman and Janakamma. He emphasized the flood of emotions and rage that accompanied the filmmaking process. Satyanarayana praised the collaborative effort of Suddala Ashok Tejagaru, Bheems, and Choreographer Swarna, declaring the song as a tribute to ancestors.

Executive Producer Pothireddy Anji Reddy acknowledged the courage required to bring the story of the Razakar movement to the screen. He appreciated Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy for investing in a high-budget project for his debut film. Anjireddy thanked the entire team, including the cast and technicians, for their support.
