‘Sagileti Katha,’ produced by Ashok Arts and Shade Entertainment, is led by the talented Raviteja Mahadasyam and Vishika Laxman. Set in a Rayalaseema village, this content-driven film is written, edited, shot, and directed by newcomer Rajasekhar Sudmoon. The comedy-drama is presented by hero Navdeep’s C-Space and is jointly produced by Deviprasad Balivada and Ashok Mittapally. The trailer has already been released and has received a tremendous response. A premiere show was held in Hyderabad on Wednesday ahead of the film’s grand theatrical release on October 13, with film critics offering rave reviews.
Speaking after the premiere show, presenter and Hero Navdeep said, “Not everyone’s journey is smooth. Every individual has to climb their way up through hard work. ‘Sagileti Katha’ has been made with the intention of supporting those who want to advance in life. And those who are in a position to do so have made this film. The team has worked with great passion, and I hope everyone loves this film.”
Director Rajasekhar Sudmoon said, “I have been in the film industry for nine years. When I told the people in my life back then that I would enter the film industry, they wrote me off. Today, I can proudly say that my address is C-Space, and my PIN is Navdeep. Our hero Ravi Mahadasyam supported me from the beginning throughout the journey of ‘Sagileti Katha.’ If this film succeeds, half the credit must go to him. If it fails, the blame will rest on me.”
Producer Devi Prasad said that the project started as a small movie but has grown over time. He added that hero Navdeep has played an instrumental role in its success. “We’ve even left a hint for ‘Sagileti Katha 2’ at the end, as we are confident in this movie’s commercial success. The Rayalaseema backdrop will be appreciated by all,” he added.
Hero Ravi Mahadasyam said, “From the very beginning, the buzzword has been ‘new.’ I can confidently say that ‘Sagileti Katha’ is a unique film. I strongly believe that everyone will appreciate its content. Navdeep is the main strength of this project, and we’ve captured a range of emotions in the Rayalaseema backdrop. We are pleased with the positive response from Tollywood journalists.”
Heroine Vishika said, “I am thrilled to be a part of this movie. The character of Krishnamma is close to the real me. Navdeep is the primary reason our film has reached this level. I’m also grateful to the director who entrusted me with this character.”
Producer Ashok said, “I hope everyone enjoys this movie. If you like it, please spread the word among your friends and family, as that’s how a good movie reaches the audience.”
The film recently received a U/A certificate.
