Prabhas’ filmography is nothing less than a bag full of box-office wonders. With Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ grossing more than Rs 400 crore by Sunday afternoon (all versions, worldwide), he now has six movies that have grossed that figure.
‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’, ‘Saaho’, ‘Adipurush’, ‘Salaar’ are the other five films. Only one of these films was directed by a Bollywood filmmaker.
‘Radhe Shyam’ is the only post-‘Baahubali’ film starring Prabhas which has missed the Rs 400 crore mark. It was a loss venture.
Prabhas will next most likely pull off similar feats with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit’ and Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar 2’. Maruthi-directed ‘Raja Saab’ might not be able to join the league, though.
In summation, the Rebel Star is enjoying the greatest phase of his career and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
