Sreerama Chandra, the winner of Indian Idol 5 and a former Bigg Boss contestant, has made his debut as the lead actor in the web series “Papam Pasivadu.” The trailer for the series was unveiled at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad, with National Award-winning Director Sandeep Raj as the chief guest and several prominent film personalities in attendance.
The storyline of “Papam Pasivadu” revolves around Kranthi, a 25-year-old protagonist dealing with heartbreak and a relentless pursuit of love. However, his life takes a comically chaotic turn when not one, not two, but three different women become enamored with this perplexed character.
Actresses Raashi Singh, Gayatri Chaganti, and Srividya Maharshi play the female leads opposite Sreerama Chandra. The series is produced by Akhilesh Vardhan and directed by Lalith Kumar.
Jimmy Jose, known for his work on the web series “30 Weds 21,” composed the music, and the team recently released the title track of “Papam Pasivadu.”
The series is scheduled to premiere on Aha on September 29,2023 and will consist of five episodes. During the trailer launch, the makers hinted at the possibility of a second part in the future.
