Lakshmi Manchu has reacted about the incessant trolling she and her family members are often subjected to by Netizens. In recent years, films like ‘Son Of India’ have been insulted and derided by social media users. Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu have in the past alleged the role of a Hyderabad-based digital company in the negative campaign.
The ‘Gundelo Godavari’ actress feels that people have been unfair. She said that nobody can do with it or without it. “At the beginning, it used to hurt me. When I began my career, I presumed that everyone will treat me with kindness because I come from a film family. Far from it, they have been cruel. I and our family members don’t know how to be politically correct. We call a spade a spade, which is disliked by some individuals,” she said.
Lakshmi will be seen in the web series ‘Yakshini’, to be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar from June 14.
