Q. The reason for casting Rajendra Prasad and Gautami in lead roles?

After ‘Bammamata Bangorabata’, Rajendra Prasad and Gautami garu acted together again in this film. I played the roles of Rajendra Prasad’s brother-in-law in the movie Annie Manchi Shakunamule directed by Nandini Reddy. At that time I told this story to Rajendra Prasad. He liked it very much. He suggested Gautami to tell the story. But Gautami doesn’t look like a grandma. I told the story out of fear. Gautami also liked it very much. He immediately said ok. Just talked to Gautami’s stylist. Ananya Sharma is an interesting character in this. With 30 Weds 21 she made an identity for herself. I posted on Facebook that I want my character to be such a cute girl. Contacted Ananya Sharma Manager. Ananya also liked the role very much. His character is very crisp. That character is a good value add for this movie. Also, Srikanth Iyengar, Charan Lakkaraju, Ravi Varma, Gemini Suresh and all the characters are very well done.

Q. ‘Facebook background is seen in the story of Krishnarama.. the inspiration for this story?

This story started with my grandparents. My mother joined Facebook five years ago. The reason for this is feeling alone. Grandfather lives in Nagol. We all come and go every weekend when we can. Then we fall into our tasks. But every time we come back from home and look back at them, we realize how lonely they feel. They came to Facebook to get rid of that loneliness. Mom types Dad’s thoughts. In a way, this is the story of our home birth. We have put ‘#Krishnarama’ as a suitable title for the story which takes place at the age of Krishnarama. After the title came, the names of the characters Krishnaveni and Ramatheerdha were decided.

Q. Is Krishnarama originally thought of as a web series?

Actually, we thought of two types of film and web series. Because it has a lot to say. After 65 years, the situation is seen as an isolated generation. When they retire, they feel that their life is over. In fact, retirees are hired as consultants in large corporate systems. The intention is to use their experience. But we are informed that this society will not work with this experience in one day. Not so, The main purpose of this is to say that the society needs that experience.

Q. He did it as an actor… he did it as a director,  What was difficult in this?

I change the sandals (laughs) Everything is under our control in the direction. What I wrote, what I felt, told the actors, and getting what I wanted from them… all this is under the direction. I like them. I know my limits as an actor. I am in that range. This is the sixth film as a director.

Q. How do you balance being an actor as a director?

I don’t go into acting when I am a director. If you notice there are many gaps as an actor. I write my own story. It takes a lot of practice and research. I devote a lot of time to it, so as an actor, I have to take many opportunities. As an actor, he wants to do different roles.

Q. The reason for the release on ‘ETV Win’?

ETV is a great company. Everyone knows that good taste makes films. They agreed as soon as we told them. Also, Rajendra Prasad also has a good relationship with them. The movie is streaming with great response. Krishnarama entertains all generations.

Q. New movies to be made?

There are two or three stories. There is a lady-oriented project. I will tell you the details soon. As an actor, I played a good role in the movie Gautham Tinnanur.
