Prabhas has revealed that his character Bhairava in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is adorned with a lot of grey shades. The actor awaits the dystopian epic sci-fi action drama on June 27th.
In a roundtable with his fellow team members of ‘Kalki’, the ‘Salaar’ actor said that Bhairava is a humorous superhero. The ‘Adipurush’ star feels that the non-Telugu audience will find Bhairava absolutely refreshing because this is the first time they will be watching him in a “funny character with grey shades”.
He also said that Bhairava is the best character he has ever got to play. (Better than Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali? Well, our actors know how not to lose an opportunity to build hype).
Vyjayanthi Movies is sitting pretty despite the high budget of the film. Rs 170 crore is what it has earned by way of selling the movie’s theatrical rights on a fully recoverable advance basis to different stakeholders in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The values of the Hindi version’s rights and the overseas rights is still in the realm of speculation.
