A commitment to aiding the underprivileged and standing by those in need defines the humanitarian efforts of the ‘Manam’ Foundation under the leadership of Kadambari Kiran. Over the past decade, the foundation has made significant contributions, aiding many individuals. In a recent event held at the Film Chamber venue, checks were distributed to beneficiaries with the esteemed presence of producer Dil Raju and Damodar Prasad, under the auspices of the Kadambari Kiran Foundation.
Expressing his gratitude, Kadambari Kiran announced, “From today, we are extending the services of the ‘We Too’ Foundation. Over the past ten years, with the support of Telangana Chief Minister KCR, KTR, MP Joginapalli Santosh Kumar, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and former minister Lakshmareddi, we have continuously reached out to the poor workers. In the last decade, our foundation has responded to appeals from the less privileged in Telugu states, extending help during natural disasters such as Cyclone Titli, the Kurnool floods, and the Kerala floods. While many are waiting for assistance, the ‘Manam also’ strives to match the pace of the donors. We are encouraged by their ongoing support. I am delighted to present checks of Rs. 25,000 to our chief guests Dil Raju, Damu, and Prasanna Kumar.”
Chief guest Dil Raju reflected, “Does God exist or not? This debate is ongoing, unknown to many. Believers have faith, while non-believers remain skeptical. God is truly perceived when one human assists another. In the realm of service activities, Kadambari Kiran serves as a bridge between God and mankind, embodying the strength of divinity. In the film industry, many elders and friends have made significant contributions. Continue these services until your last breath, and we will stand by you. Kadambari Kiran, you are the divine human form.”
Damodar Prasad, President of the Producers Council, emphasized the importance of helping one another. He remarked, “Ten years ago, Kadambari Kiran approached me and inquired if there was any way he could assist. At the time, there wasn’t a specific request. I have observed him for nine years, and his commitment has remained steadfast. Providing assistance to many people is no easy feat. They mobilize funds and ensure it reaches those in need. It’s not an easy task.”
Prasanna Kumar, Secretary of the Producers Council, highlighted the significance of community service. He stated, “The community is our temple. Kadambari Kiran’s services have been recognized by many filmmakers, and they continue to support him.”
Ramasatyanarayana, another producer, commended Kadambari Kiran’s sense of responsibility during the pandemic. He mentioned, “When Vivi Vinayak expressed his desire to contribute responsibly during the pandemic, Kadambari Kiran matched his commitment by providing a Rs. 5 lakh check. Kadambari Kiran is keen on involving more people in this noble cause.”
Various directors, including Chandra Mahesh, Prem Raj, Mahanand Reddy, Sambasivarao, and Bandar Bobby, along with numerous celebrities, participated in the event to show their support.
