Here is what we know about ZEE5’s Telugu series ‘Bahishkarana’ so far

Bahishkarana’, a Telugu-language web series fronted by actress Anjali, is going to stream on ZEE5. Here is what we know about the show:

1. Anjali plays a courtesan in the series, which is set in the Guntur of 1990s.
2. The period drama thriller will start streaming on the platform on July 19th.
3. It also features Ravindra Vijay, Ananya Nagalla of ‘Mallesham’ and ‘Vakeel Saab’ fame, Shritej (known for playing both Chandrababu Naidu and YSR in two different movies), Shanmukh, and Mahboob Basha.
4. What is the synopsis: Darshi, a villager who is the husband of Lakshmi, doesn’t return from work. Around this time, Lakshmi strikes a bond with Pushpa, played by Anjali. In the process, unexpected secrets start coming to light. A sarpanch becomes a major character as the story progresses. Pushpa and Lakshmi are in for the shock of their lives when they get to know a secret.
