Every episode of the upcoming web series “Vadhuvu” is poised to captivate the audience, as expressed by the team during a pre-release press meet in Hyderabad. Disney+ Hotstar, known for recent releases like Jhansi Season 2, Dead Pixels, Save The Tigers, Shaitan, Dayaa, and Athidhi, is set to enthrall viewers once again with this intriguing series.
Starring Avika Gor, Nandu, and Ali Reza in key roles, “Vadhuvu” is produced by Srikanth Mohta and Mahendra Soni under the SVF banner. Directed by Poluru Krishna, the series will be available for streaming from December 8.
During the press meet, actor Nandu expressed his enthusiasm for being part of “Vadhuvu” after the success of his previous films. He highlighted the uniqueness of the series, emphasizing the diverse and suspicious nature of family members. Nandu also teased the upcoming Season 2, promising an even bigger canvas.
Ali Reza, another actor in the series, shared his experience of receiving a call for “Vadhuvu” and adjusting his schedule to accommodate the role of an Air Force pilot. He praised the settled character and performance in the series, declaring it a sure hit.
Director Poluru Krishna provided insights into the series, mentioning that “Vadhuvu” is a remake of the Bengali web series “Indu.” While appreciating the original series, Krishna emphasized the team’s effort to design characters that suit the local nativity, making their version distinct. He teased the gripping storyline, particularly highlighting the curiosity-inducing seventh episode.
Actress Roopa expressed her gratitude for being part of “Vadhuvu,” expressing her desire to work under director Poluru Krishna. She described her character as challenging and emphasized the series’ ability to impress the audience.
Editor Anil Kumar shared his experience working on “Vadhuvu,” stating that editing was done to match the mood and behavior of the characters, ensuring a well-paced narrative.
Music director Sriram Madduri thanked the director and Hotstar for the opportunity to work on “Vadhuvu.” He praised the talented technicians and artists, expressing confidence that the audience would love the series when it releases on December 8th.
