The other day, when the first single of ‘Devara’ was announced, producer S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments tweeted that the song will outdo ‘Hukum’ from Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer’. ‘Hukum’ is considered one of the best Anirudh songs ever. It was electrifying and thoroughly enjoyable.
However, the ‘Fear Song’ from ‘Devara’ on May 19th (Sunday) has turned out to be just average. Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics are the only great aspect of the song.
Before the release of ‘Guntur Kaaram’, S Naga Vamsi would say massive things about the movie. “It will break all non-Rajamouli records,” he said repeatedly, magnifying the expectations from the Mahesh Babu-Trivikram movie. However, the film turned out to be a major disappointment. Hyperbolic statements by Naga Vamsi contributed to greater disappointment ultimately.
Fans are urging S Naga Vamsi to stop making exaggerated claims about songs/movies.
