Chiranjeevi

Indian actor, filmmaker, and former politician Chiranjeevi alias Konidela Sivasankara Varaprasad who was born on 22 August 1955 is regarded as one of India’s finest actors. Chiranjeevi was born in Mogalthur, a hamlet in Andhra Pradesh’s West Godavari district. Konidela Venkata Rao, his father, was a constable.Surekha, the daughter of Telugu comedy actor Allu Ramalingaiah, is Chiranjeevi’s wife. Their family includes daughters named Sushmitha and Sreeja, and a son named Ram Charan, who is also a Telugu film star. He has 2 younger brothers Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan. Nagendra babu is a filmmaker and Pawan Kalyan is an actor. His brother-in-law, Allu Aravind, is a filmmaker.

He appeared in more than 150 Telugu-language film projects.He got his biggest break with the film “Swayamkrushi” which was released in the year 1987. Throughout the course of an acting career extending a period of over forty years, he appeared in so many films in Telugu as well as multiple movies in Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.

AWARDS:

Chiranjeevi received nine Filmfare Awards in South, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award, three Nandi Awards, and the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, the most prestigious cinema honor given by the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. He received the Padma Bhushan award in 2006, the nation’s third-highest civilian award, in recognition of his services to Indian film. He was included among “the men who changed the face of Indian Cinema” by CNN-IBN in 2013.
