The bollywood’s big production house, Pooja Entertainments, is suffering to pay the salary dues to its cast and crew. Akshay Kumar had to indulge in resolving the issue by asking the production houses to withhold his payment till all the cast and crew members were paid.
The recent films produced by Pooja Entertainment has been a complete disaster that includes Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Ganpath, etc were disasters at the box office.
10 days ago, on 21st june, cast and crew members took Instragram to call out the production house for their unresponsive behaviour regarding the payments. They also accused the producers of spending money on business class lavish luxuries but not paying the payment dues.
“Akshay Kumar charges Rs 100 cr plus, and the entire business of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will stop at Rs 60 cr. So, what is he charging Rs 100 cr for? Tiger Shroff charged some Rs 35-40 cr for this film. For what?!”said film trade analyst Komal Nath to Indian Express.
So, Akshay Kumar stepped in to resolve the issue by withholding his payment till every cast and crew member is paid.
