No suspense. No speculations. Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ will have a second part. Producer KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green himself made the announcement on July 9th. He also suggested that the cliffhanger-like climax of ‘Kanguva’ will build curiosity and hype around ‘Kanguva 2’.
So, what do we know about ‘Kanguva 2’ so far? Nothing, except for the fact that it will be led by Suriya and directed by Siva, again. It will arrive at the cinemas in either January or April 2027.
Both Studio Green and UV Creations are looking forward to ‘Kanguva’ generating spectacular openings upon its release on October 10th this year. “Siva had four different subjects in mind for Suriya. He told me right at the outset that if he narrates ‘Kanguva’, the other three won’t even be considered. The subject itself is so exciting,” Gnanavel Raja said in his latest interview.
