Review:

Shankar, once a rowdy, now enters the political arena and insults a fellow rowdy turned politician. In doing so, he triggers a chain of events that lead to his ambition of becoming an MLA. His plan involves a whopping 50 crores and a scheme that involves the heroine. As the story unfolds, we discover the mysteries surrounding the 100 crores offered by the rowdy Shankar Mantri. Analysis:

Director Baba PR, known for his debut film “Saidulu,” has masterfully crafted this thriller. The screenplay keeps you engaged from start to finish. The first half flows seamlessly without a dull moment, and the suspense surrounding certain characters in the first half finds satisfying conclusions in the second. The unexpected twist before the interval keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the second half delivers even more twists and turns. For those expecting a conventional crime or lust story, “Ashtadigbandhanam” will pleasantly surprise you. While there may be a few minor logical gaps, the overall experience is highly enjoyable.

Acting:

Surya Bharat Chandra, in the role of the hero, delivers a commendable performance. Heroine Vishika Kota not only captivates with her beauty but also shines in her role. Playing the multifaceted character of Shankar, Vishvender Reddy impresses with his villainous portrayal as well as his portrayal as a minister. The supporting cast, although relatively new, delivers what the director intended with conviction.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, “Ashtadigbandhanam” is a must-watch for thriller enthusiasts. With a gripping plot, engaging screenplay, and strong performances, it’s a rollercoaster ride of suspense that keeps you hooked till the end. Don’t miss it!
