Anupama commits to consecutive female-centric films

Young actress Anupama Parameswaran is basking in the resounding success of “Tillu Square”. The film, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, has grossed over Rs 130 crore and stands as one of Telugu cinema’s most lucrative ventures in terms of return on investment. Intriguingly, buoyed by the triumph of “Tillu Square”, Anupama has committed to several female-centric projects.

Presently, Anupama is engrossed in Prasanth Varma’s “Octopus”, Praveen Kandregula’s “Paradha”, and a movie helmed by Tamil director AR Jeeva, launched recently under Lyca Productions. Notably, these films are hailed for their narrative depth and feature strong female protagonists, with Anupama essaying lead roles across all three. This marked departure in script and character choices could herald a significant turning point in Anupama’s career.

Beyond these ventures, Anupama also has projects lined up in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Earlier this year, she graced the screens in Ravi Teja’s “Eagle” and Jayam Ravi’s “Siren”.
