Actor Virat Karna of ‘Peda Kapu’ fame will next be doing a high-budgeted movie titled ‘Nagabandham’. Nabha Natesh and Aishwarya Menon are its female leads. Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and BS Avinash will be seen in important roles.
The pan-India film will be released simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam in 2025. The shoot will start from October 23 this year.
Megastar Chiranjeevi was the chief guest for the film’s launch event today. Abhishek Nama has penned the script for the movie, which has adventure elements in store. The theme of hidden treasures has gained significant attention in India following the recent discoveries in the Padmanabha Swamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram and the Ratna Bhandar in the Jagannatha temple in Puri. 108 Vishnu temples in India are said to be protected by Naga Bandham. The film’s story revolves around this concept, the makers said.
BS Avinash, known for his role in ‘KGF’, will be seen as Aghora. Soundar Rajan is the cinematographer for the film. Kalyan Chakraborty wrote the dialogues, and Santhosh Kamireddy is the editor. Ashok Kumar is the production designer.
