‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ is the title of Mohanakrishna Indraganti’s next. After the failure of ‘V’ (direct Amazon Prime Video release in 2020) and ‘Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali’, the filmmaker has pinned his hopes on this movie headlined by Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur.
Releasing its First Look poster, the makers said that the film toys with the idea of fatalism. Priyadarshi, who was recently seen in ‘Darling’, is obsessed with palmistry and horoscope-based predictions.
What is Indraganti saying?
“Faith gives strength to a man. But superstition renders even a wise person weak. ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ is a story of the average middle-class man that is laced with humour. Was the protagonist perennially torn between his irrational beliefs and his love interest, ending up a failure? Or, did he successfully bail himself out? The plot is told with a heart-pounding sense of humour.”

Comedians to watch out for:
VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, Viva Harsha, and Sivannarayana will be seen in different roles. ‘Sarangapani Jathakam’ has music by Vivek Sagar.
Successful combo:
The film is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad of ‘Aditya 369’ and the recent ‘Yashoda’ fame. This is his third movie with Indraganti (after the successful ‘Gentleman’ and ‘Sammohanam’).
