‘Matka’ stars Varun Tej in the lead. Vyra Entertainments’ Dr. Vijeynder Reddy and SRT Entertainments’ Rajani Thalluri have kicked off a massive schedule of the period action drama. The location is an enormous set constructed at Ramoji Film City. The current schedule will come to an end only in the last week of July. Looks like director Karuna Kumar has set out to complete the talkie portions with this schedule.
Besides Varun Tej, ‘Matka’ also features other acting talents such as Naveen Chandra and Ravi Shankar. ‘Guntur Kaaram’ fame Meenakshi Chowdary and Bollywood’s Norah Fatehi are also on board.
GV Prakash Kumar is taking care of the songs as well as the background score. These days, he is doing two other Telugu movies: Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Lucky Baskhar’ and Nithiin’s ‘Robinhood’.
‘Matka’ will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
