Recently, a YouTuber nicknamed Barbell came out with a video questioning the creative integrity of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. He implied that the film is unoriginal and might be all about Indianizing Hollywoodish tropes.
Vishwak Sen questioned the YouTuber’s itch to jump the gun before watching the movie. The actor challenged him and other such critics to first make a 10-minute short film at the very least before criticizing creators.
After this, the YouTuber said that filmmakers and actors are happy when the same film critics praise their movies. Film celebs embrace praises but ridicule criticisms. That’s when they remember the lack of credentials of their critics, the YouTuber suggested.
The ‘Gangs Of Godavari’ actor later responded by saying that he would look forward to an open live session with the YouTuber. So, this is not going to end anytime soon?
