Allu Arjun’s pan-Indian magnum opus ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ has been moved from August 15th to December 6th. In the wake of the postponement, it has been rumoured that Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’ will be released on Independence Day to make the most of the public holiday.
Dismissing the gossip, the film’s overseas distributors have indicated that there is no change whatsoever in the release date of the multi-lingual Kollywood product. Lyca Productions will be releasing the vigilante action entertainer on July 12th.
‘Indian 2’ will feature Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh in important roles. Kamal Haasan’s character will eclipse Siddharth only in the second half of the film. Directed by Shankar S, the film’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
