Digangana Suryavanshi, a Mumbai-based actress, has done Telugu movies such as ‘Seetimaarr’, Kartikeya’s ‘Hippi’ and Aadi Saikumar’s ‘Crazy Fellow’. The latter two were disasters, virtually ending her Tollywood career. The first of them, starring Gopichand, didn’t give her the required visibility.
The actress is now in a legal soup. Also a television actress in Hindi, Digangana is in legal trouble after a production house named MH Films recently accused her of resorting to cheating. The company filed a police complaint against her, alleging that she had promised to get Akshay Kumar on board as a presenter for their project, India Today reported. The controversy is related to an upcoming series named ‘Showstopper’.
Allegedly, she sought crores of rupees as her fee by promising the presence of the Bollywood superstar. So far, she hasn’t issued a statement on the legal trouble.
