‘Manamey’ will arrive at the cinemas on June 7th (Friday). Director Sriram Adittya has cast her as Subhadra, an assertive decisive wife in the film.
Talking about her role in the family entertainer, she says that Subhadra is so unlike the coy, soft-spoken roles Krithi has done previously. She is authoritative when she has to be. The film’s Trailer was released today at an event in Hyderabad in the presence of the team.
Krithi reveals that playing an onscreen Princiess would give her a high. “I want to be cast as Devasena (Anushka Shetty) from ‘Baahubali’ or something like that,” she says.
The ‘Uppena’ actress has taken failures like ‘Custody’ in her stride. She feels that a heroine has no much say in determining the fate of a film.
