Megastar Chiranjeevi was honored with India’s second-highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan, during a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Thursday.
Dressed elegantly in a blue suit, Chiranjeevi graciously received the Padma Vibhushan from President Droupadi Murmu. Among those present were his family members, including his wife Surekha, son Ram Charan, daughter-in-law Upasana, and elder daughter Sushmita.
After the ceremony, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan captured the moment by posing for photographs with the Padma Vibhushan medal.
With over four decades of acting experience, Chiranjeevi is a veteran in the film industry. Not only renowned for his acting prowess, but he has also served as a Union Minister in Manmohan Singh’s government. His illustrious career spans over 156 films, marking him as a stalwart in Indian cinema.
