Film Industry Leaders Rally Behind BRS Party Ahead of Telangana Elections

As the political fervor intensifies in the run-up to the Telangana elections scheduled for November 30, 2023, the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce (TFCC) has emerged as a collective voice, throwing its weight behind the Bharatiya Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) party. In a recent press meet, TFCC President Pratani Ramakrishna Goud, accompanied by prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry, expressed their support for the BRS party and its chief, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).

President Goud, acknowledging the development in Telangana under KCR’s leadership, particularly commended the government’s support for the film industry. He emphasized the immediate solutions provided by KCR’s administration to address issues faced by the film industry. Goud declared that the workers and their families associated with the Telugu film industry, spanning 24 crafts, have collectively chosen to stand by the BRS party in the upcoming elections.

The TFCC President, in a comprehensive overview, highlighted the various welfare programs and initiatives undertaken by the government over the past decade. He praised KCR’s leadership for resolving issues related to movie releases, rates, and the welfare of artists and workers. Goud cited examples of support extended by government officials, such as Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Tourism Minister Srinivas Gowd.

Several influential figures from the Telugu film industry echoed President Goud’s sentiments during the press meet:

Satya Prakash, emphasizing the nurturing nature of individuals born under the sign of Cancer, likened KCR to a father figure for the people of Telangana. He urged the citizens to reelect KCR, underscoring the Chief Minister’s dedication to the region’s welfare.

Gautham Raju praised KCR as the architect of Telangana’s destiny, attributing the state’s formation to his efforts. He urged the public, especially those from the film industry, to vote for the BRS party symbol in support of KCR.

Guru Raj provided historical context, comparing the social changes in Telangana before and after KCR’s tenure. He emphasized the need to make KCR the Chief Minister again for continued development and welfare.

Director Laxman acknowledged the challenges faced by artists and technicians in the initial days after Telangana’s formation. However, he credited KCR for bringing about unity in the Telugu film industry and urged everyone to vote for the BRS party symbol.

Secretary Sagar highlighted the strong leadership of the Telangana government and advocated for KCR’s return to the Chief Minister’s office. He emphasized KCR’s support for the film industry and the well-being of artists and workers.

Ramesh Naidu praised KCR for putting Telangana on the global map and urged everyone to vote for him to ensure uninterrupted progress.

Katcham Satyanarayana drew parallels between KCR and Gandhi, attributing Telangana’s existence to the Chief Minister’s leadership. He emphasized the collective responsibility to make KCR Chief Minister again.

In a unified appeal, TFCC leaders and participants in the press meet urged the film industry and the public at large to cast their votes in favor of the BRS party, symbolized by the car, expressing their belief in KCR’s vision for the future of Telangana.
