Pleasure in Debuting with ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’: Heroine Nupur Sanon

The much awaited pan India project ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ is a crazy combination of mass maharaja Ravi Teja, director Vamsi and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. Presented by Tej Narayan Aggarwal and produced by Mayank Singhania, Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bharadwaj are the heroines in this film. With gripping teaser, massive trailer and chartbuster songs, Tiger already creates huge buzz nationwide. Nupur Sanon, who played the heroine in the film, shared the features of ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ in a press conference in the background of the film’s grand release worldwide on October 20.

Tell us about your role in ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’?
My character’s name in ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ is Sara. She is a Marwari girl. He is a soulful character. A girl who will do anything for someone if she loves them. This is my first movie. While my role is commercial, this is a role that also has scope of performance. It is a pleasure to get such a challenging role for the first film.

You are entering the Telugu industry with this film.. What attracted you to do this film?
First.. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. I feel lucky to do him in the movie. Second.. Abhishek Aggarwal production. He has already given Pan India hits like Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2. I thought it would be a good launching project for me. Also director Vamsi. About 200 people auditioned for this role. His belief that I would be apt for this role gave me a lot of confidence.

It’s a period movie, isn’t it? How did you prepare for this role?
Director Vamsi researched this story for almost three years. He has a lot of clarity about what role should be. They have written clearly how the heroine’s hair band should be. I acted as he said.

Have you seen Ravi Teja’s movies? How was working with him?
I have seen almost all the movies. Ravi Teja is the original Vikram Rathore. Ravi Teja’s acting is amazing. His comic timing is amazing. Mass Maharaja title appt to Ravi Teja. It is a pleasure to work with him. His Hindi is amazing. They supported a lot in the shooting. Because of him the barrier of laggenge was removed.

What kind of advice did you get from Kritisanan?
His journey also started from Telugu. Both our tastes are different. The only advice she gave me was, “Be yourself”. I will follow the same.

How did the South film industry feel?
I heard that South industry is very organized. I saw it live with this movie. Treated with great respect and courtesy. Very supportive. They are also technically very strong here. Madhi and Jeevi Prakash have given brilliant work.

Who are your favorite heroines?
I love Sai Pallavi. I was fed up with Fida. Also likes Anushka Shetty and Keerthy Suresh.

Favorite heroes in Tollywood?
I like Nani. Also likes Ram Pothineni and Vishwak Sen.

What kind of roles do you want to play in the future?
All kinds of roles are to be played. Also wants to make a strong female oriented film. Currently I am doing a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
